Finally...an update!!

Shame on me for not updating more!!! As I guess you all can understand, I stay a little busy!! I'll jump right too it....Riley is doing great. In a brief summary of the past few months...... Christmas was FANTASTIC!!! Obviously, this was the best Christmas ever. Christmas with kids is just a whole different ballgame. We had a blast with him opening all the gifts and visiting all our family. Then.... in December, we were able finalized his adoption. What a great day to have him officially become a part of our family!! One of the highlights of Christmas break was being able to visit with Riley's brothers. For those who don't know, Riley has two biological brothers, both who live with the same family. They just live a few hours away in Tennessee. We really enjoyed spending time with them and their parents. What a blessing for Riley to be able to have a relationship with them. The remainder of the winter, we pretty much just stayed inside. And then....Spring....FINALLY!! We have already spent more time outdoors this Spring than we did all Summer long last year. We are just loving it. Riley really enjoys being outdoors. He is still a little scared of our dog when she gets too close, but still wants her to be around.

I'll try not to bore everyone with one super long post. I will try and add some pictures and give some more updates soon!!!!

Riley always loved Troy's hat, but he discovered this one in this bedroom the other day. He just loved wearing it and can even put in on himself.
